a burlesque extravaganza - here come the girls ..
London, 24 September 2008 - we jumped at the opportunity to sponsor the Awesome Autumn Burlesque Fashion Show to raise funds for www.Thyroid-Disease.org.uk, a voluntary organisation set up to help people find out more about the disease. The runway show - all serious heels, makeup and frocks with some wicked moves thrown in - is being held in the super-stylish Victoria Quarter in Leeds on Sunday, 5 October from 7pm to midnight, and in celebrating the female form, the burlesque dancers hope to raise awareness about thyroid disease and help empower and boost the body confidence of sufferers.
