London, sometime in Sept 2008 - more tips from Fashion Week: feline eyes and sharp hairlines.  Charlotte Tilbury - this time working for Marios Schwab, revealed that she created “cat-like” eyes with lots of black eyeliner - that’s for daytime wear like the smoky eyes we saw Bobbi Brown do for Tory Burch’s show over in NY - and Duffy, Schwab’s hairstylist, swept hair back tightly from the forehead, accentuating the corners of the hairline and forehead.  Course, sip kept models and stylists hydrated while all this creativity went on ..

London, 7 October 2008 - it was the morning after the night before at sip HQ today as we recovered from the Cult Beauty party at Bloww.  sip was served alongside the champagne and gained some new fans - including a very dishy Jeremy Edwards and his mate James Redmond.

London, 29 September 2008 - one of the best beauty nuggets we managed to glean during London Fashion Week as we skulked around backstage was from makeup guru Charlotte Tilbury.  She said this: “the best way to match a foundation to your skin is to try a tiny bit on your jaw line and if it’s the right shade it will blend in seamlessly.  To make sure you’ve got the best shade for your complexion pick a couple of colours you think look close to your skin and apply next to each other. The right shade will literally disappear into the skin, whereas if it is too dark it will show too yellow and anything too light will appear ashy on the skin”.  That’s foundation sorted then.  We won’t mention THE OTHER REALLY EXCITING NEWS from Charlotte’s studio yet.  All we can say is that it will be available before the end of the year - ummmmmm can’t imagine what it is ..
